To increase the total voltage, several modules of the same type can be connected in series and to increase the current, several modules can be connected in parallel. When connecting multiple modules, it is important to align all modules exactly in one plane to achieve maximum performance.

The word solar means sun. That is, if the sun does not shine on the solar cell, then no electricity is generated. If the sun is obscured by clouds or fog, little or no electricity is generated. Therefore, it is very important that the solar cell is in the open air and not behind windows, in conservatories, etc. Artificial light cannot replace the sun. Therefore, attempts to illuminate the solar cell with a lamp are more or less pointless. Although a voltage can be measured on the solar cell, almost no current is generated. In the winter months, solar cells generate less electricity than in the summer. This is due to the lower solar energy at this time of year, the low position of the sun and the shorter days.

It is important that the solar cells are oriented at an angle, preferably facing south and that the sun shines directly on them for several hours a day. Solar cells hardly generate electricity when tilted in the wrong direction. If possible, place diagonally to the sun as seen on house roofs or in solar parks.

The top of the module is cast with epoxy resin and thus weather resistant. To contact the module, copper surfaces are available on the underside to solder cables. The polarity is also marked. Please only use strands to connect. Wires are stiffer than strands and can cause solder pads to tear off.
